Residential Care and Health Facility Administrator ------- 2017 - Registration Form and Flyer 

If you are looking to turn your “job” into a real career, Success Development and Indiana Health Care Association could be your source to obtain that opportunity. RCA/HFA courses give you the chance to change your life and your situation. They allow the potential inside you to come out and fulfill your destiny. This state approved six-week program (four-week for RCA) will provide you the informational foundation needed to have a successful AIT/internship experience and to pass the RCA/HFA licensing exams —after completing the five/six month internship requirement in a residential care or health care facility.

Exam Prep Sessions
Residential Care and Health Facility Administrator

If you are ready to take either your National, NAB, or Indiana exam to obtain your Administrator license, you may want/need a little assitance to achieve your goal of passing. The Exam Prep Sessions are available to those that have or will soon complete their AIT and are ready to get the exams completed. It is a one-day session with a pre-assignment and followup.  

You will sign up for the NAB/RCAL and/or Indiana RCA/HFA. (One session for the Natiional exam and one session for the Indiana exam.)

Session content includes:
  • Test Taking Tips and Techniques
  • Content Review for "Specific" Exam
  • Acts, Laws, Regulations, Codes, Rules

  

Social Service Designee ---------- 2017- Registration Form and Flyer

The Social Service Designee course sponsored by Indiana Health Care Association and developed/owned/provided by Success Development, inc., provides the basic knowledge to fulfill the role of a Social Service Designee. Attendees – upon successful completion of the 48 hour course - will receive a certificate to fulfill requirements defined in the state regulations for nursing facilities/long term care facilities.
 Course content includes:
  • Resident Care and Rights
  •  Family Care
  • History of Health Facilities . . .
  • Sales and Marketing and the Social Service Designee
  • Finances Overview
  •   Survey Process Overview
  • Acts, Laws, Regulations, Codes, Rules

 Upon successful completion of the course – attendees will be certified to:

  • Serve as the Social Service Designee in a nursing facility – under 121 beds.
  • Serve as a Social Service Designee in a nursing facility – over 120 beds under the supervision of a Social Worker.
  • Coordinate the services needed to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, psychological and psychosocial well-being for each resident.
  • Participate on the care team and utilize internal and external resources to identify and secure appropriate resident services.
  • Schedule and maintain appropriate resident interaction with the social Service Designee.
  • Serve as an advocate of each resident.
   

Preceptor ------   2017 - Registration Form and Flyer
                    

If you are looking to increase your “job satisfaction” and/or “job contribution value,” the preceptor course sponsored by Indiana Health Care Association and developed/owned/provided by Success Development, inc., could be the way to obtain that opportunity. The Preceptor course fulfills one of the eligibility requirements to be approved as a preceptor to an Administrator-in-Training. This state approved eight-hour program will provide the informational foundation to be a skilled Preceptor.

      • Preceptor Qualifications, Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships
      • AIT Process
      • Areas of Focus During the AIT Relationship
      • Trainer, Employer, Leader, and Manager
